Hi! Just a stupid question: how do I start the InterBase server once i've installed it? And where is the documentation? Do I really need to download these 10 mbs of pdfs? Thanx Achim

In the bin directory, there is a script called ibmgr, that will start and stop the server. And yes, you have to download the full 10mb doc set. Plus, a word of warning: you need to add 'localhost.localdomain' to your hosts.equiv file, or you will get a strange startup error (it's not in the manual).
