I am using the Mandrake Distro with KDE. First, I tried to install the RPM super server. No problem but I can only put it on /opt where I have no disk space. RPM does not allow me to place it in the directory I want. Am I using RPM incorrectly? Then I tried the targz file under the directory I want. I see the 00 install file when I click on the tar file. But I haven't a clue how to make it work. None of the editors show me what the file consists of. I tried using the archiver on the targz file and it came back saying that it could not list the directory. I need to install IB on the disk with enough space. What can I do?
