I have no idea how hard or easy InterBase is compared to MySQL. Which one is better for a person to start using, I want to build fast DB's that can be used on Intranets or the Internet. I want to be able to have it work on Unix Apache servers, I want to be able to have it run on Windows also. I know nothing about Unix or Apache so if Interbase easily ports over to them while I learn it and then I can learn about Unix Apache so much the better. Presently I am using Win98 and only have one box no network set up will that be a problem? Is there any books written about Interbase? I have been on Amazon but could not find one. Thanks Bomber Steel
