Hi Bill,

I run a gfix first but it reports no error, however i prceed to a
backup/restore which solved the 'abnormal termination' problem. A related
question:
what is the best way to modify a structure in production? in development we
might have many modifications to the .gdb and when deployed, i used to
create a empty gdb and datapump the data over, it has been working without
any problem, however, those .gdb are getting big over the years, and data
pump the data takes longer time now. that's the reason i used data comparer
and get a update sql, applying the script to target gdb, it's very fast, but
the resulting gdb cause those 'abnormal termination' from time to time.
