For windows NT/2000/XP get imagecfg by google'ing for it & run: imagecfg -a 0x1 C:\Program Files\Borland\interbase\Bin\ibserver.exe That will permanently fix the Affinity to one 'CPU' without needing to run IBAffinity after startup.
