Dynamically change order of fields

Is there a way to change the order (in the IB metadata) for fields in a
table?
Similar to IBConsole where you can alter a table & 'push' fields up or down?

Thanks

With recent versions of IB you can change the column order using the
ALTER TABLE statement. I do not recall if this is possible with IB 6 or
not. The real question is why bother? You can specify any column order
you want in your SELECT statement.

Ok thanks. Just an easy way to group fields in a table with many fields. If
I dynamically add fields at the end, it just becomes messy after a while.
