Hello;
A little background first: The Flavor of IB is 7.1 registered Server
Version. On Windows 2000 Pro SP4.

Error No.1) I think maybe related to error no. 2 and it is that I cannot
start The Replication Service From either the Services Applet or the
IBReplSrvcInstall.exe application. I get a vague error from windows :
"Could not start the InterBase Replication Service on local computer.
The Service did not return an error. This could be an Internal Windows
error or an internal Service error." The IBReplSrvcInstall.exe
application returns no message at all.

Error No. 2) I appear to have properly set up a replication scenario
between two copies of the Employee database. I setup the Connection,
added the two databases and successfully added the schema and the table
and field mappings. It all seemed to go very well.
Except for that when I try to test a connection to the configuration
I get an error that My Username and Password are not defined.
I also get this error when I try to run the IBReplServer.exe
application. I am using the SYSDBA account with the password masterkey.
I can log into all 3 databases involved with that username and password
combo.

Please help, this is maddening.

Thank you
Brian M.
