Can anyone help?

I need to work out a score as a percentage within a stored procedure, I am
using the following code but it doesn't seem to work.

(TOPICCOUNT integer,
 TOPICSCOMPLETED integer,
 USERSYLLABUSPROGRESS integer)

.....
UserSyllabusProgress = (:TopicsCompleted / :TopicCount) * 100;
.....
