What if you CAST it to VARCHAR first?

WHERE CAST(mynumericfield AS VARCHAR(10)) LIKE '10%'


Actually, upon testing, it works fine with a database I have... ?!

select * from BESTELLING
where bestellingid like '111%'

Returns rows alright...
