Do constant values in Interbase SQL statements have to be in single or double quotes if they do not contain space characters ? For SQL statements with other database systems is it a general rule that constant values must be in single or double quotes, or is it database system dependent issue ? Can one ever go wrong placing constant values in single or double quotes in SQL ?
