right now, I'm updating columns one at a time, like so...

UPDATE STUDENT
SET FNAME =
(SELECT EFNAME FROM ETABLE
WHERE STUDENT.ERMID=ETABLE.EPERMID);

Is there any way to do more than one column at a time ?
