Do an SQL statement like the following... SELECT field_names FROM tbl_name Where search_field LIKE '%search_string%' the LIKE statement finds a specific string in a field. The % sign works like a wildcard character to find variations. Ex. ...LIKE '%ME%' returns "Go hoME", "ME and you", and "Have a MErry Christmas" ...LIKE 'ME%' returns only "ME and you" ...LIKE '%ME' returns only "Go hoME" etc. Be sure and use the single quotes around the expression you're searching for! As far as literature... I just use the SQL Help files with MS Access and SQL Server...
