Hello,

I am trying to gather information on a form and use create a sql INSERT
statement from certain values that is executed in the on server click
event.

Problem is:  The statement gets created fine... but I keep getting table
is read only error messages.  I have tried practically everything I know
to get around this.

Help?

Here is an example:
   this.form.query1.sql="INSERT INTO dbo.b_links
(user_group,user_set,rec_id,user_desc) VALUES ("+
      "'testgroup','testuser',1234,'asdf')";
