We recently had a situation in which a bug in an Oracle stored procedure (one that returns a value in a parameter) resulted in a hung session (on the Oracle server) every time it was fired off from a form. Whenever the form was run from an IB server, the server locked up in what seemed like a permanent wait state and had to be shut down and restarted. (Web server was ok) From the IB designer this was not the case. Is there a difference in the way agents and the designer interact with databases? (This is IB c/s 1.5 on Win95, Oracle 7) Thanks in advance. Bob
