Hi all, I've always been curious as to why my oracle database needs so little cpu time while my intrabuilder agents (IB 1.5) need so much. I've come up with a rather distrubing theory. Which of the following happens if I have a rowset open and I "locate" a specific row. A). A SQL query is built for the parameters used in the locate, and this query is issued against my database. B) Intrabuilder keeps a cached copy of my entire table in its innerds, and searches this cache to find the rows that I'm trying to "locate". The manual says that open rowsets have data cached, but intrabuilder would refresh the rowset instead of searching its own. Right? Finally, If B is true, is there any way to make intrabuilder use the database for searching?? Steven Ensslen (steven@fifthd.ca)
