Hi, I have a table that contains the following columns: <number StudentKey> <alpha "interview (y/n)"> (null or "yes") <date "interview date"> (null or date) I'm trying to find rows for a specific student who has an interview but has not set an interview date. The query: SELECT * FROM signups WHERE studentKey = 12345678 AND "interview (y/n)" \ IS NOT NULL AND "interview date" IS NULL However, this query doesn't work at all! My test data: StudentKey "Interview (y/n)" "Interview Date" 12345678 yes 1/9/98 12345678 yes 12345678 No matter how I vary the query, I either get ALL the rows back, or none of them. I've tried "WHERE "Interview (y/n)" LIKE '%yes%'" but that didn't work either. I'm using the trial version of IB, tables are paradox 7. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Jeff
