I have a sql query against multiple Oracle tables already saved. The recordset is read-only. I haven't found a way to use the form expert to build a form using this sql query, because Intrabuilder (C/S) immediately complains that "table is read only" whenever I launch the expert and feed it the sql file......any way around this?

Yeah -- don't use the sql designer. You end up with read-only for anything that includes a WHERE clause, or an ORDER BY clause. Instead, simply drag the table to the form surface from the navigator. This creates a query object with the SQL property being a basic "select * from tablename" (and the appropriate database stuff for your Oracle connection). Then you can use the rowset's properties to set the sequence (indexName) and any filters (where) ...
