I don't have Enterprice edition but I'm using Personal edition. This is how
I did my JB6.

My path:

JB6 = C:\Program Files\JBuilder6

JDK1.4 = C:\Program Files\j2sdk1.4.0

In the %your path%\JBuilder6\bin, find jdk.config file

You need to modify it so I suggest you make a copy of that file.

Open that file in notepad and replace any path starting with (something like
this...)

"../j2sdk1.3.0/bin/java" replace that to your JDK1.4 path.

In my case I got ../../j2sdk1.4.0/bin/java

(I got two of ".." this because I need to go back two steps back to my
JDK1.4 folder.) I don't know where you installed your so can't help you with
putting your path in.

It work on my edition of JB6 Personal.

Another path to replace, which is ../(jdk folder name)/lib/tools.jar (I got
../j2sdk1.3.0/lib/tools.jar) Find that and replace to your JDK1.4 tool.jar
path "../../j2sdk1.4.0/lib/tools.jar" Once again, I got two of ".." this
because I need to go back two steps back to my JDK1.4 folder.

In my case I replaced with ../../j2sdk1.4.0/lib/tools.jar.

I included my config file so you can look at it.

Simon JMASH.

PS. If can also configrue another on by configuring like this... In your JB,
go to Tools > configre JDKs..

In the JDK setting frame, click the "Change" and point the old JDK path to
your new JDK1.4 path Click OK.

I think by modifying the jdk.config file allows you to change the JDK that
JB used to run it. After successful configuration, go to Help>About
Jbuilder... <About Jbuilder dialog appeared> then click on "Info" tab. You
will see that now JB is looking into you JDK1.4 path instead of old path.
