I suspect that the exceptions are occurring, but you are not seeing 
them.  Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), JBuilder2 is a very 
distant memory for me.  What SKU of JB2 do you have?  You really 
should consider upgrading to something more current.  If your use is 
non-commercial, you can download JBuilder 6 personal from the Borland 
web site.
