I'm trying to write an application that will dial into a remote network and
log on to an ftp server using Socket.

If I dial in using a Windows dialler which logs me onto the network, the ftp
logon is no problem.

Also just dialling in is no problem with comm api.

Is it possible to dial in and log on to the network using just java ?
