Has anyone run/debugged applications using javax.comm in JB6 personal edition under NT 4.0 (or any win32 box)?

I can get it to build, but CommPortIdentifier.getPortIdentifiers() returns a null Enumeration when I run it. So it appears there are no ports. Runs fine outside JB6
when I copy/paste the long command in the JB run (bottom) window into a dos command window. Command follows...

C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\bin\javaw -classpath "D:\SRC\JAVA\gps\classes;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\lib\comm.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\demo\jfc
\Java2D\Java2Demo.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\jre\lib\i18n.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\jre\lib\jaws.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\jre\lib\rt.jar;C:\opt
\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\jre\lib\sunrsasign.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\lib\dt.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\lib\htmlconverter.jar;C:\opt\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\lib
\tools.jar" SimpleWrite

comm.jar and javax.comm.properties are in the JB directory ...\JBuilder6\\jdk1.3.1\lib
win32com.dll is in ..\JBuilder6\jdk1.3.1\bin directory.

Thanks for any help.
Dan
