Hi,

How can I create an IP connection between 2 computers using java ?

We have an application (Java based) that use TCP\UDP sockets to connect to
other entities (Not java).
The problem is that one of our clients does not have a LAN connection
between the places that
the other entities are, but he have phone lines. So we thought to use modems
to dial to the other entities
and create a dialup connection.

The thing is that we have no idea where to start searching for help on how
to do that.
What we need to do is:
    1. Create a dialup connection to the far entity.
    2. Assign an IP addresses to both entities.
After we establish that we can keep our original code and create TCP\UDP
sockets to the far entities.

Any help will be appreciated.
