Hello
I am using JBuilder 5 and am running into a problem with adding dates to the database.  I am using an SQL insert statement and I have tried every format to enter a date into the JDataStore.  The format is supposed to be mm/dd/yy and I tried to insert date like '08/12/01' but it gives me the error cannot assign string to a date.  How can I force a date to be inserted.  Please help
