I am new to Java. I hope I found the right newsgroup :-)
I would need to acces the RS232 port.
What should I do? Write a DLL?
Is there any documentation on calling a DLL written in Delphi or C++ (BCB)
for jbuilder? I have only found some information in the tutorial from Sun
JDK 1.3.1 on how to compile a DLL written in C for use in Java.

Why should always my first programming task always be so complicated.... or
is it challenging?

Would appreciate some help.
