hello!

i`m using jb4ee and need to use java advanced imaging (jai-1_1). i installed
this into sun jdk1.3.1_01.

it works, but i'm not able to use the widgets provided in this addon. if i
try to put one into my class, the gui-designer shows only a red box instead.
and there seems to be no possibility to overide the mouse.

i.e.:
    RenderedImage ri = JAI.create("fileload", "C:\\Eigene Dateien\\Eigene
Bilder\\Beispiel.jpg");
    ScrollingImagePanel panel = new ScrollingImagePanel(ri, 0, 0);
    this.getContentPane().add(panel);

result (designer):
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: invalid layout key Center new
ScrollingImagePanel(ri,0,0)
    Failed to create live value from new ScrollingImagePanel(ri,0,0) in
ScrollingImagePanel panel = new ScrollingImagePanel(ri,0,0);
    Failed to create live visual subcomponent (panel) as
javax.media.jai.widget.ScrollingImagePanel(cls); creating a red component in
its place

program runs, but listeners do not get any events.

what can i do? i first tried to use the original jdk from jb, then the sun
jdk (have modified bin/jdk.config) - with original jdk i got a compiler
error for event listener with sun's not. if i use javax.swing.JPanel instead
it works, but this is not the way i want to go.

best regards,
