If I use the following line
BufferedReader dataInputStream = new BufferedReader(new
FileReader(string1));
I get the following error
"foo.java": Error #: 100 : illegal character at line 89, column 38
"foo.java": Error #: 100 : illegal character at line 89, column 47
"foo.java": Error #: 100 : illegal character at line 89, column 71
the first error is the character after the assignment char "=" in the line
above
the rest are in the same line at odd places.
I am importing java.io.*;
I am using the JDK 1.3
I can move the line around and the error follows it so its not something
above this line.
what's up?
Scott
