read component from a file

I'm new to Jbuilder.
Is there any function that returns an instance of a component that was read
from a resource file (component streaming)?
In Delphi I have 'ReadComponentResFile' to create a component and its
children from their representation in a Windows resource file (for example a
.dfm file).
Anything like this in jbuilder?
