Hi,

  i am using a progressbar in a jdialog component to register the progress
of a method actualization of the screen but when i create and show the
component it only appears at all when the method is over and i dispose the
jdialog component with the progress bar. Is there anything at all i need to
do to see the progress bar while the method is running. To create the
component i use:

  public Progressbarone(Frame frame, String title, boolean modal) {
    super(frame, title, modal);
    try  {
      jbInit();
      pack();
    }
    catch(Exception ex) {
      ex.printStackTrace();
    }
  }

  public Progressbarone(int min, int max) {
    this(null, "Progress", false);
    jProgressBar1.setMinimum(min);
    jProgressBar1.setMaximum(max);
  }

to call the method i use:

    Progressbarone bp = new
Progressbarone(0,97+(this.jTabbedPaneCartas.getComponentCount()*4));
    bp.show();
