I need help with a thread that downloads something from the Net. I need to
build a simple FTP/HTTP client with a URL box and two buttons: Start and
Stop.

I do download in a thread but I need to wait till it's finished to disable
the Stop button, enable the Start button and dispose off the resources.

How do I wait?

I have several books and all of them describe synchronizing and creating
Thread descendants in deep detail leaving my issue off the scope.
