If I understand this correctly, it does not work for me.

 I went to c:\jbuilder2\java\bin and copied java.exe, which I
 pasted into c:\jbuilder2\myclasses\BigBClient where BigBrown.class
 is located.

Also in that directory I created BigBrown.bat, which contains....

 java BigBrown

When I double-clicked on the boxed cogwheel icon, it said it could
not find javai.DLL ... so I copied that across as well.

After that it threw up a DOS window, flashed some unreadable error
messages, then immediately closed the window before I could read them.

Actually if I go into that directory in DOS it does something
 different, which is "can't find java/lang/Thread" .
