 Whew!    *finally* it worked.  Including running from 'run'.
 I'm not sure what happened before. 

 Is there an easy way to fire it from an icon, now? (being lazy here:
 I could always revise enough CppBuilder to throw a command line from
 an icon'ed app,  or even ask which Java App to run then run it).
