Hi, I'm trying to embed a JVM via a DLL. I have no problem if I use the invoke.c and prog.java example, which uses a console app, and simply "returns" after the println in main(), thereby shutting down the JVM. I am then returned to normal DLL execution. But when I use a GUI java app, returning from main() does NOT shutdown the JVM, because the GUI is now waiting for "events", which is good. But when I exit the java app, it uses System.exit(1) or System.exit(0). Unfortunately, this does not only shutdown the JVM, it terminates the DLL as well. How do I shutdown a GUI java app & JVM, and return to normal DLL execution? TIA, Reggie
