I'm getting into Java, and have a couple of questions... I want to make the most of my time by using tools that are portable and current. I thought I remember reading somewhere that Swing components are replacing AWT. Is there any truth to that? What is the relationship between Swing and AWT? I just purchased JBuilder 2, and have that on my machine along with the JDK (1.2 beta). If I set up JBuilder 2 to use only JDK and Swing classes, does that mean it will be portable? Thanks for any help. - Keith
