This will seem like a very stupid question, but... Anyway here it goes

Exactly how do you compile a java script.
I have a very thick book, its a JAVA Developers Guide.  but it dosen't help
me.  It gives me lots of information and lots of scripts but I still don't
know how to compile java script.

Please help me.
