I'm exploring avenues to migrate our current Delphi 3 application to
multiple platforms.

The javasoft page documents this class that allows hardware access to the
serial port.  If this is possible in JBuilder2 and is supported on both
Wintel, Macintosh, and Unix packages it would be a fairly compelling reason
to port.

Is this supported?
