Hi,

I wonder if someone knows where I'm going wrong with running my classes in
IE4, my applets compile fine.
I have my classes for the project in:
    c:\JBuilder\myclasses\untitled1\
files: Applet1.class,  untitled1.dependency, and I copied Applet1.html after
compilation in to the same dir.
and my project or .java files in:
    c:\JBuilder\myprojects\untitled1\
files:  Applet1.html,  untitled1.jpr,  untitled1.html
Everytime I execute the "Applet1.html" file in the
"c:\JBuilder\myclasses\untitled1\" directory, I get this message in the Java
Console:
    java.io.FileNotFoundException:
\C:\JBuilder\myclasses\untitled1\untitled1\Applet1.class
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: untitled1.Applet1
 at com/ms/vm/loader/URLClassLoader.loadClass
 at com/ms/vm/loader/URLClassLoader.loadClass
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.processSentEvent
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.processSentEvent
 at com/ms/applet/AppletPanel.run
 at java/lang/Thread.run

The simple source code associated to this applet is:
    //Title:      Your Product Name
//Version:
//Copyright:  Copyright (c) 1997
//Author:     Your Name
//Company:    Your Company
//Description:Your description
package untitled1;

import java.awt.*;
import java.awt.event.*;
import java.applet.*;
import borland.jbcl.layout.*;
import borland.jbcl.control.*;

public class Applet1 extends Applet {
  XYLayout xYLayout1 = new XYLayout();
  boolean isStandalone = false;

  //Construct the applet
  public Applet1() {
  }

  //Initialize the applet
  public void init() {
    try { jbInit(); } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); }
  }

  //Component initialization
  public void jbInit() throws Exception{
    xYLayout1.setWidth(400);
    xYLayout1.setHeight(300);
    this.setLayout(xYLayout1);
  }

  //Start the applet
  public void start() {
  }

  //Stop the applet
  public void stop() {
  }

  //Destroy the applet
  public void destroy() {
  }

  //Get Applet information
  public String getAppletInfo() {
    return "Applet Information";
  }

  //Get parameter info
  public String[][] getParameterInfo() {
    return null;
  }

  //Main method
  static public void main(String[] args) {
    Applet1 applet = new Applet1();
    applet.isStandalone = true;
    DecoratedFrame frame = new DecoratedFrame();
    frame.setTitle("Applet Frame");
    frame.add(applet, BorderLayout.CENTER);
    applet.init();
    applet.start();
    frame.pack();
    Dimension d = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize();
    frame.setLocation((d.width - frame.getSize().width) / 2, (d.height -
frame.getSize().height) / 2);
    frame.setVisible(true);
  }
}

I just don't have the foggiest idea why IE4 can't find this class

Thank you very much for your help!!

Emilio
