I have a simple class that scrolls text across the screen. Under Netscape
everything works fine, however under Internet Explorer the repaint() never
calls the paint(); Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
public void run() {
while(true)
size= this.getSize();
width = size.width;
height = ((size.height - stringHeight)/2)+ stringHeight -4;
startX -=2.
if(startX + (ratio * message.length()) <=0) {
startX = width - message.length();
}
repaint();
try {
Thread.sleep(1000);
}catch(InterruptedException e) {System.out.println("Thread sleep
interrupted.");}
}
}
