Hi Dan,
I have written some Java code that scrolls text as you refer to and it
works fine on both Netscape and Internet Explorer. Since you only are showing
your run method I am making the assumption that you have overriden the update
method. However, you might be leaving out the invoking of the paint method
from the update method.
e.g.
repaint()-> schedules update() -> invokes paint()
run()
while()
{
repaint();
}
update(Graphics g)
{
// Do your stuff and then...
paint();
}
Hope this is helpful.
Sincerely,
Rob
