An open letter to Borland International

Sirs,
I bought a product from you about 9 or 10
weeks ago - J Builder Standard Edition version
1.0. It is really a nice program and I like
it a lot.
Approximately 5 weeks ago I downloaded the
the 1.01 patch from your web site.
I followed the instructions and it installed
perfectly. Unfortunately, the next day I
uninstalled the product because I was having a
problem and thought it may have been caused by
the patch. It turned out to be something else.
   So, I reinstalled J Builder 1.00 Standard
Edition and attempted to reinstall the patch.
I couldn't do it. I tried for 3 days to install
the 1.01 patch and it would consistently fail.
After wasting MUCH time I finally decided to
give up and just order the $15.00 CD refresh
CD that was mentioned on your web page.
About 10 days later I got the package from
Borland.
Except, I didn't get the upgrade CD .... I got
another copy of J Builder 1.00 with manual and
sun glasses.
I was rather irritated. Almost 2 weeks now
and I was still stuck on version 1.00.
I called your 800 number and they said they
would immediately ship me the 1.01 refresh CD and
that they were sorry about the mistake.
A week later I received the much anticipated
package.
Except it was another copy of J Builder Standard
Edition version 1.00 with manual and sun glasses.
   Now I was really peeved.
I called your 800 number again and they
appoligized again. They said they would send me
the 1.01 refresh CD for sure THIS time.
Well today ..... 5 days later I finally got the
package from Borland.
Except it was ANOTHER copy of J Builder Standard
Edition version 1.00 with manual and sun glasses.
   I have several open questions.

1. Am I the only one who is experiencing this
difficulty in trying to obtain the upgrade?

2. Will I EVER get the upgrade CD?

3. Do only enterprise customers get the refresh CD?

4. Do you really expect to stay in business long
if you can't fill one $15.00 order?

5. Should I open a distributorship to get rid of
the extra copies of J Builder Standard Edition version
1.00?

6. How many pairs of sun glasses do I need?

I really, really, really, really, REALLY, would
like to upgrade to J Builder 1.01

   Really.

   Two last questions.

1. JUST WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY 1.01 REFRESH
CD????

2. OR IS IT TIME TO LOOK AT OTHER PRODUCTS FROM
COMPANIES THAT CAN FILL AN ORDER?
