I curious whether any has noticed any intermittent race condition type bugs in ScrollPane? The problem seems to be occuring when a ScrollPane contains a large or complex number of components. The symptom is that when ever ScrollPane has its setBounds(Dimension) method called there is a risk that the view area will not be resized. Interestingly, when the view area occaisionally does not resize, the getBounds method still returns the appropriate dimensions, and the components on the pane reformat to suit the specified larger bounds even though it does not redraw. Has anyone experienced this or know of a solution/work around? Thanks Joe Burger jburger@gisca.adelaide.edu.au
