Hello all, I have created an applet that spawns a window. When I run it in Netscape Communicator (with the JDK 1.1 patch), it does not let me destroy the window and exit the program unless I exit Netscape itsself. I have tried handling the Window Closing event with both dispose() and System.exit(0), but to no avail. The window stays up even if I point to another page. It worked fine in JBuilder's applet tester with no event handling code. I vaguely remember reading something about Netscape's caching system resulting in an undesirably tenacious hold on applets. Could this have something to do with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dhruva Reddy -- ----------------------------------------------------------- Dhruva B.
