I just read through the messages regarding which version of JDK that JBuilder was using. I have a problem that might be related to that. In my projects properties I have put the classpath to be the Java that is shipped with JBuilder (jbuilder/java/lib/classes.zip) and I think that this should work. Since I can't reship the standard jbcl classes I also included the redist zip-files in the project classpath. Now, as far as I can see, everything should just work fine. But it doesn't. When I compile I get the following error: "[c:\program\jbuilder\src\jbcl-src.zip]\borland\jbcl\io\FastBufferedOutputSt ream.java Error: [58] constructor FilterOutputStream(java.io.OutputStram) not found in class java.io.FilterOutputStream Error: [98] method write(byte[], int, int) not found in class java.io.OutputStream Error: [111] method write(byte[], int, int) not found in class java.io.OutputStream Error: [112] method flush() not found in java.io.OutputStream " The lines in the classpath of the project are: c:\projekt\myprojekt\lib c:\program\jbuilder\redist\jbcl-rt.zip c:\program\jbuilder\redist\jclass.zip c:\program\jbuilder\redist\jgl.zip c:\program\jbuilder\java\lib\classes.zip My first question is: Why does it compile a whole lot of code that I havn't written? Isn't these classes in the zip-files?? Second: Why do I get these errors? Shouldn't JBuilder be able to compile using the files that it is shipped with?? Third: Why have the standard classes (jbcl etc) at all when you can't ship them with your applications? Why don't just use the redist/* zip-files? Answers would be highly appreciated. Sincerely / Patrik
