With JBuilder7 Personal in XP I don't manage to obtain a valid GraphicsConfiguration for the Canvas3D. If I put null in the new Canvas3D(null) creation, as describes in many examples on sun, i get the NullPointer Exception. If i try with Canvas3D c3D = new Canvas3D(SimpleUniverse.getPreferredConfiguration()); it seems that method returns null too. Everything I tried it seems to return a null GraphicsConfiguration object. My system is XP with a Matrox G450 I tried with the OpenGL versione of APIs and with DirectX one. The second compiles and run with no exception, but the result on screen is caothic. The first does not compile and I get the nullpointer exception on the GraphicsConfiguration. On my laptop all is good. Anyone may guess what it depends on? Any suggestion is welcome! Thank you very much!!! Claudio
