As a _target_ JDK, it should be OK - I haven't seen any messages to the 
contrary. Of course, you don't want to run either JB6 or JB7 _using_ JDK 
1.4.anything (i.e. as the JDK that actually loads and runs JBuilder) - 
that's unsupported.
