a class path question from newbie

Hi, there,

I am using jbuilder 6.0 Professional version in Window NT

When I run my program, I have import a libary from, let say d:a\b\*.class
so I went to Project -->project properties --> pathes --> required library
then I add a new library with
class path: d:a\b\
source path: d:a\b\
however, I can not compile my application program,
the error is classes from the imported library is not found.

Could anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks
