Hi,
I've finally managed to get my serial ports working with the javax.comm
library, and all appears to be working ok. However, I need to send ascii
characters such as <null> <EOT> <SOH> and <ETX>
which is the prefered way ?
char nullchar 0x00; // assign ascii <null>
or
byte nullchar 0x00; // assign ascii <null>
or am I totally wrong on both counts.
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
