How can I (safely and simple) stop execution of my app from outside? It
is executing on Linux/Unix. I was thinking to check if some file exists in
app folder, and if not, then stop app from code. Then, if I want to stop my
app I would delete that file. Is there better solution?

Thats one way, another could b to use a properties file with a flag running=true have your program check this flag, if its not true then exit, you will have to load this file each time "John Steed" <my@spam.org> wrote in message news:3f20ea02@newsgroups.borland.com... > > How can I (safely and simple) stop execution of my app from outside?
