I'm moving a large project from Visual Cafe to JBuilder Personnel and wonder if this is a glitch in the JBuilder "Make" process. Maybe because it can't keep track of all the classes I imported into the project at the same time. My package is "com/edugames/authortools" I can put "import com.edugames.common.*;" in the header and it will throw an error 300 with the classes in the "common" directory saying "Class not found". So I add "import com.edugames.common.CLASSNAME" and it now works, i.e doesn't throw a error in the make process. So my header now looks like: import com.edugames.common.*; import com.edugames.common.ClassA; import com.edugames.common.ClassB; import com.edugames.common.ClassC; etc. So now I'm running into problems with classes in the same package not being able to access other "Public" classes in the same package. These are classes that are not only in the Directory, but in the Project list box on the left, yet the program still will not recognize them. All the errors are Error # 300. My working directory in the Project Properties box is "com/edugames/authortools". I'm going around in circles trying to get all the classes to work. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
