I have done an applet with jbuilder8, and it runs from the IDE, and with appletviewer, but when I try to execute from IE, it shows something like class: untitled1.applet1 can't be instatiated. Could you help me? Thank you.

I suspect you need to install the Java plug-in.

Thank you. I need the JRE. Now, I've done my first dbswing applet, and it works from jbuilder8, but with IE it shows a message that say: error: com/borland/dx/dataset/Dataset and finally Applet load has failed... What's the error now? Thank you. That class is part of the DataExpress package which is in the file
dx.jar. You need to include this on the classpath for your Applet.
You could include the entire dx.jar file, but you probably want to
just include the components that you need from it.
Assuming you are using the Archive Builder to build a JAR file for
your applet, you would need to change the library settings for
"dx.jar" on the dependency tab of the archive builder properties.
You will probably want to set it to either "Include required classes
and known resources" or "Include required classes and all resources".
