Ken:

JBuilder is built on top of the JDK that it ships with.  You can't
just swap it out (as mentioned in the HintAndTips file).

I got this error to go away by recompiling my "old" classes with the
new JDK.  It was the first time I had to recompile and I didn't see it
with all my stuff.
